Thank you to the Lehigh Valley IronPigs for having myself, LSG, and World Famous CB out on Saturday July 10, 2021 to throw a first pitch ahead of the game! I received a wonderful introduction that made me smile quite big but it wasn’t enough for me to be successful with a get-me-over fastball!
In the fifth inning, I joined Mike in the ‘Pigs broadcast booth and had a lot of fun! Thank you to the ‘Pigs for a night I will never forget!
Thank you to Sports Illustrated

Because of everyone’s efforts and generosity at Final Battle 2019, Caprice Coleman and I were able to donate over 400 books to Lehigh Valley Reads, so many that Lehigh Valley Reads needed to build additional shelfing to house them! Thank you for helping support literacy in the Lehigh Valley and thank you to Lehigh Valley Reads to, hopefully!, the first of many partnerships!
Very excited to announce that Colt Cabana and I will be providing commentary to the upcoming spiritual successor and official sequel to WrestleFest, RetroMania!

Hello everyone! Caprice and I are collecting books on Sunday December 15 at the 2300 Arena for Lehigh Valley Reads!
The details are as follows:
On Sunday December 15, Ring of Honor returns to South Philly at the 2300 Arena for Final Battle Fallout. In addition to a night of the Best Wrestling on the Planet, Ring of Honor is inviting you to give the gift of reading this holiday season! From 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, Allentown native Ian Riccaboni and his broadcast partner Caprice Coleman will be participating a special meet and greet session. The ROH Broadcast duo will be accepting new, unwrapped children’s books – in exchange for your generosity, you will be able to meet Ian and Caprice, receive an exclusive, autographed 8×10, and be able to take your photo with the pair!
All children’s books collected will be donated to Lehigh Valley Reads, a third grade reading campaign that connects students with the resources to provide the best opportunities for success in Ian’s hometown of Allentown and all across the Lehigh Valley, powered by PBS39 and United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley. Additionally, Ian will personally match any book donated in Philadelphia one-for-one.
“I was recently touched by the generosity of Lehigh Valley Reads,” Riccaboni said. “As a father of two with a three-year old that is mesmerized by reading, my wife and I have seen the power books have firsthand to unlock the imagination and creativity of children. Whether it is learning the alphabet and colors or diving into the world of superheroes and adventure, we have been fortunate enough to be able to have the means to purchase books and get him to our local libraries but not all families in our area do. We hope that we can help in some small way during this effort to get books into the hands of families that would cherish them.”
About Lehigh Valley Reads: Lehigh Valley Reads is building a community of readers to make the Lehigh Valley a place of opportunity for all. Third grade is that pivotal moment when children transition from learning how to read, to reading to learn. Lehigh Valley Reads is a regional literacy campaign to ensure all Lehigh Valley students read on grade level by the end of third grade, by 2025. To learn more about Lehigh Valley Reads, please visit LehighValleyReads.org.
If you would like to add to our book drive total, please send books appropriate for grades 3 and under to:
Ian Riccaboni
PO BOX 1207
Allentown, PA 18105
Our goal is 100 books in Philadelphia and 1,000 total. A suggested route to contribute is to purchase through Amazon or other online retailers with free shipping and have the books delivered by that route.
Additionally, many of your favorite organizations, podcasts, companies, community groups, etc. have codes for websites such as Amazon that helps them raise money. Please consider your favorite organization and see if you are able to raise money by using their links should you choose to share your generosity.
Thank you!
Ian
It has become such a treat each trip to Las Vegas to head to Sunrise Children’s Hospital. Thank you to the strong children, family, and staff for having our ROH crew of Shaheem Ali, LSG, Cheeseburger, Joe Hendry, and myself out once again for my fifth trip and ROH’s seventh trip to this wonderful facility!
This past Saturday in Atlanta, “The Genius” Lanny Poffo joined Caprice and I at the broadcast position to call our Main Event, Champions vs. All-Stars!
Poffo relayed his experiences through Wrestling Stories, including a near-miss with a headset!
Now I’m going to share a story with you all. When I sat down at the commentator booth alongside Ian Riccaboni and Caprice Coleman, I grabbed the headset and put it on myself and didn’t realize that it was on backward. On top of that, you know how the male goes into the female in electronics? I knocked the male out of the female for my sound but not my voice. In other words, you could hear me but I could not hear Ian or Caprice.
Caprice, who was sitting on the opposite side of the table from me, noticed that I was fumbling around during the first ten minutes of the forty-minute elimination match between Rush, Jeff Cobb, Jay Lethal & Kenny King versus The Briscoes, Matt Taven & Shane Taylor that we were calling so he reached over and put the male into the female.
For ten hectic minutes before that, I couldn’t hear Caprice but I could hear Ian slightly as I was sitting right next to him. I had moved the headphone away from my ear on that side so I could hear Ian in real-time. It was a chaotic few minutes and I didn’t know what to do, but Caprice did. Afterward, I could hear perfectly. Caprice Coleman- what a team player. He saved the day!
It was a tremendous thrill to listen to Lanny in the locker room as he regailed us with stories of Memphis and his time in the WWF. Lanny will be joining us again in New Orleans.
