On Monday July 31, I was appointed to the Salisbury Township School District School Board to serve the remainder of the year. It is among my life’s greatest honors to serve the school district that gave me a foundation of compassion, empathy, and respect as well as a great education. I will serve with honor and integrity to uphold the gift that is public education.
Thank you to the other candidates for their grace and well wishes. I will serve the remainder of the existing term. I very much enjoyed last night and intend to explore my options to seek a full term to meet more of my neighbors and serve my township.
Nearly every School Board streams/broadcasts their meetings. Ours from July 31 is available on the Salisbury Board YouTube channel. I encourage all that are not currently engaged to give their own districts’ channels a whirl to get a peak into what is going on inside your community!
