Half Marathon Complete!

OrangeTheroy Fitness has been really good for me. It has helped me remain consistent with diet, exercise, and sleep. It has challenged me in new and different ways. And after noticing I could complete about 30 miles per week running without completely falling apart, I sought out to do a half marathon.

With Avery Good, aka Dasher Hatfield, we took on the St. Lukes D&L Half Marathon. It was somehow both a little bit easier and way more challenging than I could ever have imagined. Our goal was to run it under two hours. With our goal in sight, Avery asked if he was ok picking up the pace for the last two miles. I did my best to keep up and we finished a few minutes apart, both under two miles! The next frontier? A full marathon.
