Went to Kentucky with some friends and completed the Survive the Night IronMan relay! Ran just about 27 miles total (a 0.8 ish run to tag the bike in from the swimmer and then a self-contained 26.2 mile run). My run began around 3:20 AM ET and I finished around 5 hours in. Our team…

Second Half Marathon Complete – Full Next?
Completed my second half marathon, once again under two hours. It was blustery and bitter cold but I tested out my new shoes, race harness underneath my shirt to store my snacks, and ran it all without headphones. Excited to take on a full marathon as part of the Survive the Night relay this July!

All the links are YouTube links for the accompanying music video; artist links direct to Wikipedia. Unstoppable –…
This Week In Workout Playlists: June 7, 2011
Trying to keep the energy up this week with some 90’s alternative and dance hits, tossed lightly with 2000’s alternative jams. Not everything is genre specific, however. According to my iPod, here is what carried through some intense cardio and legs yesterday: The Guitar (The Lion Sleeps Tonight) – They Might Be Giants Hey Jessica…
